The Dropkicks is a rugby podcast and sports blog site illuminating your path through the murky world of international rugby, league, cricket, football, baseball, motorsports, golf, netball and competitive eating.
We decided that we were perhaps a little too biased when deciding the winner of last week's competition (I was going to disregard anyone who didn't mention Richie McCaw).
So instead we passed all of the entries to one of New Zealand's award-winning sports journalists and let him decide (his name remains a secret because he doesn't want people to know he's associated with us in any way).
And so the winner of a copy of the Rugby Book of Lists and a six pack of Epic is: Geff! Drop us a line and we'll get the prize out to ya.
Tomorrow I'll put up the rules for this week's competition and it's gonna be a doozy.
Danica Patrick has finally, after being so close for so long, won a race in the Indy car Racing League.
Mechanical failures and fuel strategies have hindered her in the past (including the Indy 500 a few years back) but not this time as she beat Helio Castroneves to take out the Indy Japan 300. In fact it was her team's fuel strategy which aided her victory this time round as the two race leaders were forced to pit for fuel.
The Dropkicks have been fans of Danica since she entered the IRL and hope that this victory leads to more and maybe even a championship.
Sadly it was reported that Danica was recently being called the "Anna Kournikova" of racing as she had never won a title (but looked pretty), although there are no records as to what all the men who never won were being called. Similarly, to the BBC: surely you can come up with a better headline than that!
