The Dropkicks is a rugby podcast and sports blog site illuminating your path through the murky world of international rugby, league, cricket, football, baseball, motorsports, golf, netball and competitive eating.
I hope we get the super slo-mo for the 2011 World Cup.
Ages ago we did a couple of videos with Jedi from the ARC and our friend Sara Valesquez (a very good actress).
They are alternate comentaries of a certain quadrennial sporting event of great importance. The reason why they weren't up sooner is, well, we found it hard to find a place that would have them without removing them for infringement.
So best to watch them before they get zapped. We also have a bunch of rugby and netball alt-commentaries too if you want to waste some time.

It's England vs New Zealand and kick-off is 6pm (NZ time).
Step 1. Find a video on YouTube relating to your sport.
Step 2. Ignore all of the outside factors [such as; is he doing something I should easily be able to?]
Step 3. Record your own video, with your friends backing you up.
If you're looking for evidence, look no further than Keith Eliot. He's a Wide Receiver and has just signed on with the Redskins. He can jump 44 inches, vertically. Somehow, it makes him better than this guy. Who probably weighs 40kg more than Eliot.
Randy Moss and Terrel Owens can jump higher than you, Eliot. In fact, a lot of WRs can.
Birds get hit quite often in baseball, but not so much in cricket - even though seagulls are always on the blimmin' pitch in Aussie. Maybe the Wellington City Council could give Jacques Rudolph a job?

David Coiffier, a Parisian cameraman and time-lapse fanatic has uploaded an incredible showreel of super high-speed camera work. The first part seems to be the pre-game festivities at a Stade Francais game (including some players practicing kicks), followed by hockey, and then just some very cool visual experiments.
Enjoy

Here at The Dropkicks we're passionate about showing you people dancing at half-time at Basketball matches. And so, I present to you 'Drunk Man who Probably Shouldn't Reproduce, due to his Choice of Teams and Questionable Intelligence'.
