Part of me thinks this would be a lot cooler if it wasn't filmed in a room full of drunken college students, likely scaring the hamsters to death. But I'm dismissing that part of my brain by imagining that whoever made those cars obviously put a lot of thought into it and probably cares a lot about the hamsters.

And the other thing is, it didn't end like the Aarons 499 at Talladega yesterday.

Seven fans injured, apparently. But 10 years ago it would have been 20 [or more] dead.

If you haven't kept up with the developments in the case of Michael Vick, he's looking to play this season. Or next season. Or the season after that. Any season. Got a spot on your team? He'll play. So long as you've got $10 million.

See, he gets released from jail next month. If you don't remember, in 2007 Vick plead guilty to the federal charge of 'Conspiracy in interstate commerce/aid of unlawful animal fighting venture' and state charge of 'Unlawfully torturing and killing dogs, promoting dogfights'. He was sentenced to 23 months and 3 years probation.

So, naturally, Family Guy had to lampoon him.

The Welsh Rugby Union is coming under fire from PETA for it's new uniform:

According to PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) each of the new yellow Welsh jerseys requires the plumage of up to forty dead canaries to produce their distinctive bright yellow hue.
